We have been providing a quality, Christian education since 1946 for students in Kindergarten thru Eighth Grade. Serving the
Bellflower and surrounding areas in the greater Los Angeles area.
If you are new to AUS, please be sure to check out the Our
Campus link to view our campus and get to know us a little bit better.
Box Tops for Education
You can support AUS by collecting
Box Tops for Education from
General Mills and many other products. Just clip the Box Tops and send them
in. (Please note that these are different than the Campbell soup
labels for education.) Our classrooms have a little friendly contest to see
which class can bring the most box tops per student each month. So if you
know a student at AUS, send the box tops with them. If you just want to help
out, you can mail them to the school at Adventist Union School, 15548 Santa
Ana Ave, Bellflower, CA 90706. Thanks for your support.
If you shop on Amazon, you can go to http://smile.amazon.com and designate "Adventist Union School" as your favorite charity. Then Amazon will donate a portion of your sale to AUS. Your regular Amazon account and shopping lists all work the same. It's just that AUS benefits. Give it a try!
The Fall Festival is Sunday, Nov. 5th. $10 wristband covers all foods, drinks and games. There will be a live country music band. Join us for fun, food, and friendship.
We need drivers to help with the field trip to the Reagan Library on Nov. 2. If you are able to help, please see Mr. Amargo.
Casual for a Cause
Wednesday, Nov. 1st, is Casual for Cause. For a $2 donation, you child can wear free dress within the handbook guidelines.
A flyer went home regarding the sewing class. If your's didn't arrive, please see Mr. Amargo.
We could also use some lunch duty volunteers to supervise the children during lunch so the teachers can get a small break during the day. Thanks!
